STUPID QUESTION YA HORSE FARMIN GARDENER!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Just kidding! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif Every day I log on from my work computer, and then from my home computer, and back and forth, sometimes. I have them both set up to log in automatically when I browse to the site.

When you go to log in, does it give you any kind of error message, such as invalid user/password? Or is the problem that it's not logging in automatically. When you go to log in, there's a box to check that says "Log me in Automatically each time" or "remember my login info" or something to that effect - make sure that's checked on whichever computer you're logging in on.

What may be causing a problem is if one of your computers has a restriction set on "cookies" so it's not letting your username and password be remembered. Let me know some more details on exactly what's happening when you go to log in, what it's telling you, and that will probably tell what the problem is. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well it it may be the chicken powered generator... I have tried logging on and checking the remember me box but after I type in my user name the computer at home( even remembers my password)and then check the box. it says LOGOUT ( as though I am logged in)then I hit FORUMS and when it goes to the forums page it says LOGIN(I've been logged out) and I see no new posts and I can't post or PM.
How do I check this when it comes to my cookies(there are way too many country jokes for this) tHANKS for responding tATE.

Now its dumping me again I think I screwed up the cookies deal cause it won't let me sign into my "major internet provider" e-mail. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

If you had your email set to log you in automatically, when you cleared the cookies, it may have cleared those cookies as well. Is it letting you just enter your name and password and logging in manually?

Last nite I raised my cookie tolerance that is what would not let me log onto my "major internet provider" e-mail.So tonite I lowered my cookie tolerance and for the time being I can post from home and check my e-mail. So I'll play around with it Thank you so much for your helps Tate /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Good to hear you got it worked out. I guess if you have it set on "paranoia" level for cookies, it won't really allow much of any, so won't keep you logged in, or won't remember your passwords/usernames.

So, does it now allow you to eat more cookies? Oreos or Chips Ahoy? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/warmsmile.gif
