Hey guys, I am looking at buying an 07 F-350 crew cab super duty with 105,000 km on it. I'm just wondering if the 07's still have all the problems the 03-06's do? Would purchasing this truck be a bad move? any info is appreciated!

thanks

My '07 is at 77000 miles, just recently had 2 injectors replaced that was causing cold start problems. Other than that, no problems. Get a Ford dealer to run an OASIS report for you to list any warranty history. If price is right, go for it.

07's had all of the updates fixing all of the problems that where mainly in the 03's and some of the 04's. Most of the bugs where worked out by 05 and I am not sure if there was any difference engine wise between 05 and 06. I do know that there is no difference in the 06 and 07 models. My 07 even has a 2006 sticker on the valve cover.

My 07 has been a nightmare so far at 37,500 miles. Love the truck though and hope things get better. Head gaskets, oil leaks, wire chaffing. Left me stranded twice. Bone stock and all maintainence. Ford did step up and give me the 21 point, 200,000 mile warranty for my trouble. My main gripe is that every time I had a problem, it took at least 2 trips to service to fix it and my oil leak has not been fixed yet, just going to live with it for now. I would try to get some sort of extended Ford backed warranty on any used 6.0 as they cost a fortune to fix if on your dime.
