here's the deal, I searched and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I have an 01' 250 with stock lariat wheels(16x7's), and a leveling kit and 315's. I'm looking at getting a new set of wheels (16x8's) but I don't want them to stick out any farther than stock, I hate that skateboarded look?? the wheels I am looking at are the KMC xd hoss, 16x8 with 4.5" backspacing will they stick out? I don't mind a slight rub on the leafsprings as they do that now? please help soon as these wheels go off sale tomorrow?

Easiest way to check yourself is to measure the backspacing on your stock rims, if you don't know what that is already. Remember you don't want to move your tires inboard any more than they already are or you will rub sooner or later. By going to a 1" wider rim, your rims will stick out 1" farther than before. The tire, assuming you will are reusing the same tires will move outward by 1/2". This small amount of outward movement will probably not give you that skateboard look.
