Removing the ctr console out of a 2008 is easy. The four contact point bolts removed, disconnect the wiring for the power point inside and out it comes. I removed my middle seat for a ctr console in my 08. The wiring was all there for the power point already. I also added a 2nd power point for the back of the console as well. The 08 super cab has the rear heat ducting under the seats. Hooking up inverter and other electronics as well as ducting from an 11? well for that I suspect that you will have to do some "back yard" engineering
Looking for write ups or directions on swapping out '2008 to '2011 center console
I just purchased a nice 2011 center console that I want put my 2008 Super Duty. I'd like to be able to hook up the duct work to get some heat and A/C to the rear, 12v power outlet and inverter for the 110 volt receptacle in the rear if possible. So I'm looking for any write ups or directions on how to go about this. Be nice to have directions on removing existing center console also. Thank you guys, looking forward to this mod.
