I just saw this in a post over on the SD side..... web page

They look like the same concept as Velvet Rides.

The original Velvet Ride shackles were made by the Goodrich Corporation. In 2002 they sold the product line to the Lord Corporation. Lord never put them in production and finally a few years later Sulastic started selling them.

I'm with Sparkydm....with mine really noticed on smaller bumps and gravel washboard roads. Up hill on corners (gravel) before bound around lots....now POWERSLIDE 'em.....heh heh smooth...

Would be cool if you could mount then on the front although not sure you can....don't think so...

Don't know why but your sig made me think of my QH I lost to an entrolith. (Stone) We were partners for 16 years, went everywhere in the mountains and he never hurt me. I miss my old man.

Sorry to hear you lost your horse. I miss my boy. He's the first horse I've had in 15 years and he's the spitting image of the horse I had when I was a little girl. November will mark our third year.
