With my recent move to Denver I've been adjusting to the higher altitude and learning new things about my truck (mainly how much more smoke I can now make!!!). I've noticed that around here, no matter what station, diesel fuel has a LOT of foam. Normally after the automatic shutoff at the pump I could put another 3-4 gallons in there (at much lower altitudes). Now every time I fill it up it's a minimum of 6 gallons that I still have to trickle in to get it to the neck. Heck, once it took another 8 gallons before I saw fuel and not just foam. At any rate, I just had to rant a little about that. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/vomit.gif
On the flip side, I am seeing pretty good milage. My last few tanks were all city driving around Denver, and I've been averaging now 16.04 mpg in town. Hmmmmm, I wonder if I can crack 19 mpg on the open highway /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif
