First off, I posted on here back in March with no crank problems. I haven't done anything with since I mainly use for snowmobiling season. Well I need to get on the ball and wanted to get it out of garage to either get it checked with a scanner or have it towed to the dealer. I jumped the starter with the wire next to battery. Fired right up, no engine lights, but the battery light was on. I let it run for half an hour to see if anything would clear or go out, with all the lights on. Has not gone out. Checked with a meter and seems to be charging. Also none of the park, reverse or drive indicators light up. Noticed it had no guts moving it around in the drive. So I took it down the street and it is only in high gear. Will not start off in first. It's like third and will not shift at all. Got home shut it off, still will not start with key. Now with the key off and out of ignition some cluster lights stay on dim and a whining noise come from servos on top of motor. Started it again by jumping the wire and have an engine light on. Again with dash lights on dim and the whining under the hood I just disconnected batteries. Looking for some advice before I call AAA and have it towed. Also, I have checked to make sure no mice have had a field day and cannot see any signs of wires chewed or eaten.
Anyone even hear of anything like this?
Thanks in advance
