OK, this is not 7.3 related, except I haul it with my 7.3 truck?
My tractor has taken to blowing white smoke all of the time, even when warm. This is a completely manual system like the IDI. Is this bad injectors? or pump? Never replaced either....
It could be either. Since it is only when warm its probably not cavitation. What tractor is it? engine specs? Im sorta leaning towards the injector pump...
Well, it could be cavitation. Do you know if those engines are prone to cavitating? I wouldnt really expect it on a tractor, due to the lack of hrs spent running them v. a truck...
Still leaning towards the IP. You could pull the injectors and get them tested. Check pricing first to see if it would be cheaper to replace them than to have them tested.
