loud squeal when turbo spooling up directly following cold start

The truck is a 2005 F250 6.0L. When I start it cold, there is a loud squeal coming from under the hood while the turbo spools up a few seconds after it starts. Anyone experienced this or have any ideas?

Make sure it isn't belt squeal from alternator going to high charge rate from glow plug plus starter drain.

it's definitely something to do with the turbo. it does it AS the turbo initially spools up every time.
