If it is actually stuck in low range, first, put the selector switch back to the low position. Now, with the key on, foot on brake, in neutral, sitting sill, turn it to high range. If nothing happens, check the shift control relays. They are two relays in their own box, mounted at the driver side rear of the engine compartment. First check for corroded or broken wires at the relays. If that looks ok, swap the relays and try the above procedure again. One relay turn the shift motor clockwise, the other counterclockwise.
