I just bought a used (risky, I know) 2000 F-250 7.3, 4x4, crew cab short bed and reading about 71,500 miles as of right now. We're up here in Colorado so I might be getting that lovely winter-mix diesel.
It came with a camper shell, Banks Six-Gun tuner, 5 inch aftermarket exhaust and a K&N intake already installed. All were done professionaly and appear to have been done well. I haven't had to tow yet so I've left the tuner on level 1, which is stock.
My past two tanks I've been averaging only about 10-11 MPG. Any reason for this? I've not been idling (too much), I've made sure my tires are properly inflated, air filter is clean.
Should I have the injectors checked? Is there a was (link maybe?) to check them myself?
