Is a carquest house brand inline trans filter basically the same as a magnafine inline trans filter. When I looked at a post the other day, the picture showed a filter that looked awful similar as the one I looked at in the store.

Is a magna fine the only one suggested or can I use the "house brand" magnet filter?

I saw one in NAPA a while back that looked suspiciously identical to a Magnefine. It just had a NAPA label around it. I'm pretty sure that NAPA and Carquest just buy Magnefines and put their label on them.

They looked somewhat similar. Didn't have the same casing as the magnafine, but I think the concept is the same. I will probably pick one up anyway.
