Hi All..

tried searching for help on this, but all the questions I find are ESOF 4wd problems. I have an '06 with manual 4wd that isn't working. When I engage level in the cab, the 4x4 light illuminates, and I checked the front driveshaft and it is locked.... so, guessing it is a hub issue? Anyone know the common problem? Replacing the hubs worthwhile or is there other diagnostic probing I can do?

Thanks...

Most likely a hub issue. Unlock the t-case, then lock the hubs manually. Then try to spin the axle shafts from under truck, behind the steering knuckle. They should only spin slightly, due to drivetrain slop, and if they keep spinning, the hub is not working. They should be taken apart every couple of years to clean and grease them.
