I just installed an Insight CTS2 on my 2005 Super Duty 6.0.
Now that I can monitor critical engine parameters, what are the maximum temps for engine oil and engine coolant before it's time to panic?

I am aware of the issue of the delta difference between the two, but am concerned that say a thermostat, or undetected coolant leak problem should develop while driving. At what temps should I pull over and shut her down?

Thanks,
Randy in south Texas

235 is where problems begin on ECT. If you tow big loads on big hills with a tuner you can see brief periods of 235 and never vent the cap on degas tank.
At that temp a good oil cooler may let EOT creep to 12 to 14 degrees over ECT.
