McRat's short bed extended cab 4x4 Dmax named Casper recently ran a 10.95 @ 124.48 mph. It runs on #2 only and has a built motor. Has a built trans, tuning, dual cp3 injection pumps, and one big turbo... stock injectors. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif

It'll be interesting to see where the limits are with a built duramax motor. In the 10's and Casper hasn't been up and running all that long either. Very impressive!

Might be time to dump the stock injectors. He's slower than the losing D'max in the Indy Nationals thread above.

That losing Duramax you mentioned is in an old early 70's 1/2 ton short bed truck that weighs about 2,000+ lbs less then the 2500HD ex/cab, short bed that Pat runs.......
Besides that, Pat is still working out the bugs in his new engine. If it holds together, he will be running low to mid 10's this summer..........

They've said though that they won't run 9's (I'm guessing because of the new world of restirctions/rules you get into there?) but 10.5s would be nice. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

You sure as hell ain't gonna run that fast on stock dodge injectors, and they both use the cp3 injection pump. I wonder if perhaps the duramax injectors are similarly sized to the cummins injectors, even though there are 2 more of them?
