I have a 250 with a T-19, tkat i used to pull a 26' Travel Trailer to Harlingen, TX. Tkat started to pop out of 4th gear.Now I have to hold it in gear. I'm looking for a good honest mechanic. HELP

Have you tried asking around some of the RV campgrounds in the area?
Not only the people that work at the campground but also some of the RVers that have setups about the age of yours. They are usually a helpful bunch.

Most likely the shift fork(s) are worn..... how full is the trans oil (7US pints)

50 wt engine oil above 0*F ..............30wt engine oil below 0*
