How many miles (especially those of you with high mileage powerstrokes) do you have on your truck? Be sure to include any service work you've done or if the engines strictly original. Thanks.

Truck is new to me, but I've been around it and driven it since new since it belonged to the company I work for until 3 weeks ago when I got it from them.

Early '99 (11/98 build date) 6 speed, CC F350 XLT, DRW

Still running on the CPS that it shipped from Navistar with (knocking hard on wood desk!) and has never even thrown a single code.
I think it had one new water pump.
Never had a valve cover off - but needs o-ring / injector work)
Nothing ever done to engine but oil and filter changes
No engine electrical problems ever
Doesn't use oil, starts very fast when cold - seems like a solid engine still.

BUT, it has it's 6th tranny and clutch in it! (company insisted on only ford parts so it had a trashed pilot and clutch and input shaft when I got it...)

290,872 miles as of today!

Oh, and just to really surprise some people - the other company dually is a '96 and it made it to just over 300,000 miles on the original CPS as well. It was starting to throw intermittant CPS codes so I changed it, but it never acted up and coused trouble! This engine also has had very little done to it over the 300k; nothing major.

I know mine is an "OLD" one but it has 220k on it. Not sure of the history but the only thing I have done to it is a GPR. I am sure it is the original engine. It runs AWESOME and burns about 2 quarts between changes.

The mods and miles in my signature plus when I'm keeping busy I'll add 2,500-4,000 miles per week. I've changed most all of the sensors, turbo, tranny, waterpump, thermostat, flushed the cooling system, glow plug relay, I'm on the second set of brake pads but still the factory rotors that it came with, replaced one rear caliper, the IPR and am working now towards getting all the injectors changed out.
The tuner has been set on 40hp tow forever. It will use between none and 2 quarts between the 5,000 mile oil changes depending on how hard I'm working it and idle time. My Blackstone reports come back great with the exception of iron being just a shade higher than normal.
Gotta love these trucks!

Early 99 F250. Bought it at 264,000. Replaced turbo and pedistal as a PM, replaced idler pulley assembly, replaced injectors at 275,000 (was using oil due to internal "O" ring failure) and just replaced the water pump this morning. Present mileage is 276,477. Best darn truck I ever owned.

Bought mine at 112,000.
Changed all fluids when I got it home.
Did most of the mods below in the first 2k miles I had it.
Truck is super clean and drives like new.

I am at 122,000 easy miles to this point. No fifth wheel or gooseneck set up (that will change this summer).

Saving up to do BTS this summer/fall. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Plan on driving this thing to 500K. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif

2001 Excursion 4x4 PSD Limited. 98,000 Miles. Other than routine maintenance items, the only thing I've had to replace is the radiator overflow tank when it developed some hairline cracks along the seam and began to slowly leak. (Knock on wood!!!) Still on original brakes pads (2/3 of the pads still left).
