I have a 2000 F250 with 78K miles on the stock tranny I am looking forward to getting guages and a 6position chip from DP but I want to be proactive and protective of my auto tranny is the Monster In A Box kit a good option and does it require a very specalized tranny man to install? I know a good transmission shop but they do not specalize in our transmissions do you think they would be able to preform the install? I would much rather have a complete custom tranny but, since mine seems to be acting fine now with the BTS valvebody i thought the rebuild kit may be a much cheaper option when coupled with a factory tech TC. I probly wont go over a 80hp tune but I do wont to have my truck as bullet proof as possible /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif i would rather have over kill as aposed to teatering on the edge of breakage all the time.
The MIAB kit is everything Gregg builds his trannys with. I think you need some special tools to R&R a couple of things in the trans. I do not know what these tools are, though.
