I have a f250 7.3 4x4 and it is missing at hwy speed. It only lasts for a second and it does it every few min. Has anyone else had this issue. I am getting ready to take a hunting trip across the country and will be pulling my 32ft fifth wheel and need to figure it out before I go.

Low oil level or poor quality oil will do that. Highway speeds are more rpms. The more rpms, the more oil is used and that can be a problem, driving the hydraulic injectors.

Misses can be a chaffed wire, like where the main harness goes to driver's side valve cover and lays on it.
Under valve cover injector harnesses can become partially unplugged or unplugged all together and in that last case all four on that bank will go down.

Any check engine light?

Do you have a Powerstroke capable scanner? If so, do a key on engine off electrical self tests. It will do tests on certain circuits for you.

When my CPS was going bad the engine would hiccup now and then. It was like you turned the key off then back on really fast.
