Muffled engine noise??

After i have run the truck at highway speeds(55-65mph)in the morning to work.I pull up to the gaurd gate and I get this real muffled engine noise at idle in drive. Once I start to accelerate it returns to normal. What could be causing this?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

Could it have something to do with the EGR valve? I just bought a new one that I'm putting in tommorrow so I'll se what happens...
