Those are very cool looking bumpers but I recently saw a 4x4 with one of this style bumper angled high at the front wheel and he clipped a car and without a low bumper height to "bounce" off the other vehicle, he instead rode right up onto the car with his front tire and flipped his rig.

Are these "off road" style bumpers DOT legal for on-highway use? Seems like they must be but it also seems like its a sacrifice in highway safety based on the wreck I saw.

Its sure a good looking bumper though, especially with the light bars.
