If I drove you all nuts with my enthusiasm for BTS before, watch out now!! I've FINALLY got my BTS in (Brian wanted to know why I waited so long ) and I can say that it is cooler than I ever thought.
Now, we've had a BTS tranny in White Lightening for over 2 years now, so I know what it can do for a truck, but when Alan got his in, I was unable to go with him, so I did not have that firsthand "BTS experience". Plus, I think when it is your own personal truck that you drive everyday, it is different. As Brian says, he gives each truck it's own attitude with his tranny tuning. The inside of each tranny is the same quality (the best), but the tuning that Brian does on those plates is the key to the individual attitude.
I dare anyone to go spend a day with Brian, watching him tear apart and put together one of these trannys and come away from the experience any less excited than I am. He took the time to explain to me everything that he was doing and I even got to get my hands in my own tranny as parts were going in. It is absolutely amazing the lengths that he goes, but he continues to say that what he does is just common sense and that everyone should be doing these things. I know now that they are not. There is one guy that built my tranny, and he is the owner and the one who puts his name on his work.
You can say all you want that I have BTS blinders on or that I am, what was that GEM, always cotton pickin BTS defendin?, but after spending the time that I just did with Brian, his crew and his family, I can say that I have every right and will not ever hide behind my keyboard (I am the same in person as I am right here). You just don't understand unless you have been there, done that.
I don't claim to know a lot about these trannys, but I can tell you that I now understand much more than I ever thought I would and now probably more than many out there. I am thrilled that I was right all along about BTS being the best, but the best thing is that now I understand why.
Brian, thanks for the schoolin and the extra special treatment you give your customers. You've got a life long supporter here in Colorado.
Cale, thanks for the programming. I am enjoying it and can't wait to do some testing up here in this thin air.
Matt and Jeremey, thanks for all your hard work. I hope to see you guys again real soon.
Patti, thanks for including us in your family. You made us feel very special. We will be back.
Hopefully, I will get all my pictures posted today.
I also need to add that on the way to Arkansas, we stopped off in Oklahoma and spent some time with Tony Wildman at Lake Tenkiller. Thanks Tony for showing us such a good time and treating us like one of your own family. We can't wait to show you the same treatment when you come to Colorado. AlbertBlack and I really enjoyed your kids!
