All Ford dealers have access to a nationwide search engine, but only certain dealerpersons are allowed to use it. The new salesman they hired last week probably doesn't have access to that search engine. But if your dealerperson is a manager - such as the fleet manager - then he can do it for you.

I am aware of the vehicle locator service through ford's website http://www.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/SuperDutyIncoming.jsp?target=Inventory&sModel=2005superduty&sBrand=Ford&partner=fv&sZip=
But, this allows you only to search by a zipcode. Does anybody know if you can plug in a particular vehicle with options wanted and do a nationwide search of ford dealers to see if they have a superduty that matches your criteria or if there is another search engine on the web that will allow you to do this? I cross-posted this in FTE forum also.
