Has anyone replaced their touchscreen on the NAV/Radio unit? Mine cracked and I would like to fix it myself. Do you know where I can purchase the digitizer (plastic face)?

Also, I have removed the radio from the dash but don't see how to removed the black face-plate (bezel) from it... I have removed 4 small screws and see where there are tabs holding it in place, but something else has it locked down. I think it is the vol/channel selector controls. Any information on how to remove this would be appreciate!

what year truck? Is it the "brick" nav unit or the 8" screen unit?

Sorry, should have said it is in my 2011 F-350. If I can't find one cheap I will just get an iPad Mini and stick it in front of the Radio/NAV head. Ford's nav system sucks compared to the ones you get with smart phones and tablets. Plus free updates, but not from Ford.

That is the "brick" nav/radio with hard drive. Check eBay to see if there are any there at a reasonable price. Not sure the screen is available as a replaceable unit like the smartphones.

Thanks, Larry. I looked on eBay but so many to browse through I couldn't be sure of what I needed. The store you recommended wants $299 to change it. I don't think the Ford NAV is worth it. Probably the worst navigation system I have ever used, not to mention the outrageous cost to update from Ford (maps & outdated POIs).

Guess I may have to install an iPad mini in it's place.

The one thing good about this nav/radio you have is that it does have a DVD...2013 and up trucks only have a CD player...Many on the websites have replaced the standard radio with an aftermarket nav/radio....many of the aftermarkets do let you use the steering wheel controls also...
