Could someone please measure the length of there dipstick form the flat on the top tp the tip. Mine broke and when I retreived it from the pan I tried to tig it back together and F'd' it all up. I want to fabricate a new one and need the length mentioned.
Thanks in advance,
Steve

If no one else does it, I will as soon as I get dressed and go outside. It's only like 6:30 AM here....And it's raining :icon_mad:

Chuckster,
Thanks for trying to help, I think the one that was in my truck was considerably shorter somewhere around 32" +- from the flat under the top to the tip. Maybe someone else has a 97 auto that could check.
Thanks again,
Steve

Using the same method as Chuckster, the one off my 97 is 32-3/16" from shoulder to tip. Cheers!
