Friend has a 97 350 CC and wants to add some cheap power, mostly for towing. Suggestions?

Any programmer ... for instance, a SCMT or super chips mirco tuner.

I'm sure others will chime in with their favorite programmers and stuff, but I am only suggesting an inexpensive programmer.

They have 3 power modes, and you should not tow using the super duper 3rd mode. (highest gains)

You need to go post this on the 94-97 forum, there's a lot of difference in what works on the older trucks and the newer 7.3's. suprised no ones moved this thread yet....As to tuning, just go straight to a custom chip like T Wildman or DP Tuner, much better.

Give Tony Wildman a shout he'll fix ya up 405-818-6365. I just put a chip with a tow burn on it in my stock inj truck and it really woke it up /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif.
