Hello all, I'm have a 2003 Excursion with a 7.3 diesel, and the headlights are pretty old and dingy. I've looked on Amazon but all the compatible headlights look like Chinese junk and they generally have poor reviews, mostly having to do with moisture getting inside the lights. I would love some recommendations on good headlights I can buy. I don't mind paying more for quality. I just want some that look good, are easy to install, and don't get moisture inside them. Thanks!

I bought a set of TYC off of Rockauto about 10 years ago. They are still crystal clear. My old ones had the typical lens cloudiness that made them look opaque. And, they're $30 bucks a piece. How could you go wrong.

Ok this may be an ignorant question, but it looks like this is just the light portion, but there is the orange signal portion underneath the light. Will the light part come out separately from that so only that has to be replaced? I haven't messed with taking it apart so I don't know how the assembly works.

The reason I ask is because I asked on another forum as well, and somebody sent me an ebay link to the full light and signal assy, which appears to be one piece.

If yours are stock, the parking light assembly is separate from the headlight assembly. You can remove one or the other without disturbing the adjacent assembly. Some aftermarket ones have both headlight and parking light built into one housing, like the ones on eBay you posted.
