The doctor wants to send me out for an MRI on my knees and I may be facing surgery. That being the case I need to start pricing a tranny conversion, no more stick. Long story short, few plans to do any motor upgrades so a basic suncoast, or the like should sufice.
I haven't the time or tools to do it myself and there is some electrical work involved of course. I'd like to drop it off at BWD or somewhere similar but has anyone here had a sponsor do their swap.
Lookin for input. If it becomes too much of a hassle, the dodge dealer has a nice 04 that i'm looking at. Prefer to stay w/ my truck but i'm looking at options.

Where in Texas is the 3rd safest city? My old vascular surgery professor, Malcolm Perry, used to say war was endemic in Dallas on Friday nights. And that was in the 70s. LOL.

FWIW< that was meant in jest, the old mayor was crazy about that 'stat'. I recall it came from the FBI UCR stat and was calculated in a common publication, texas monthly or something.
I saw how el paso pd did their reports and often the report was down played so they could manipulate the stats better. I saw an agg assault and the cop addressed it as a criminal mischief. Oh well, EP is a hell hole but oh well.

I saw his web site but I called there a while back and whoever answered the phone seemed less than enthusiastic about getting me info on a swap. I was basically told it was expensive and wouldn't be worth my time and that was all the person would say.
I figured that since they did show a swap on their website they would be a bit more open to giving a potential customer info. I've called other vendors here and everyone has their favs but unfortunately BTS has been the least helpful so far.

i really need to have my mind made up by next week.
