Need Water Pump/Thermostat Torque Specs

Can anybody tell me the torque specs for the water pump, and thermostat housing on a 2000 XLT Excursion?

There is a how to do it Water Pump Article BUT, the torque specs in that article seem to be way off. I got real nervous about torquing the water pump bolts to 35-46 lb.ft. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

The torque figures from Larry M. seem much more reasonable.
