Because of a back injury, I mounted a Spitz-Lift manual crane to my truck to help me lift stuff. I have an ARE hard tonneau cover that I wanted to keep, so I rigged the crane holster to the tailgate. The crane will actually hinge upright with the ARE cover raised.

I would like to be able to sometimes drive with the tailgate open and the crane extended, but then there is nothing to hold objects in the bed. Is there a net type tailgate (or something else) that is easily and quickly removable so that I can drive with my Ford tailgate either open or closed? The ideal devise would be positionable fore and aft in the bed.

Any advise/suggestion wulld be appreciated.

I had a Pro-net on my nissan truck for a few years. I'm sure there are full size nets available out there. Do a google search on 'tailgate nets'. Just saw one from Bully for $32.99, so they aren't too expensive. If you want, I can pm the site to you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
