I have an 89 f250 w/C6 tranny, truck won't start. It started out as an intermittent problem but now won't start at all. Batteries are newer, starter is under 1k mi on it, and it tests ok, I can hear the silonoid click when turning the key. Would this possibly be the NSS? The silonoid clicks in all gears. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Could be the Manual Lever Position Sensor on the trans.... try it in neutral...or wiggle the shift lever in park or neutral.

May need to reset the MLPS/PNP switch or shifter rods......

I tried starting in all gears including neutral, tried wiggling the gear shift, nothing. Been trying to figure out how to reset according to the directions in Haynes manual, it doesn't look the same as the pictures do. I'll keep plugging along. Thanks.

Check for 12 volts at small terminal on Fender mounted Relay when turning key to "start." If you are getting 12 volts the Neutral Safety Switch is not an issue at this point.

Check for 12 volts out on large output terminal when turning key to "start".
