I hated having my trailer pressure monitor mounted so high in the supplied 12v outlet as it has all the blinking lights and is just too bright.

I figured that one little storage area they give you for which I haven't found one good thing it is good for had to be the spot for extra power as there is just not a lot of options on these newer trucks.

I mounted an

for $10 and now I find they are even less inside of that area. I tapped into the power going to the Upfitter switches thru the harness that passes right past the area. I installed my own 10a fuse right there and that makes the outlets turn off and on with the ignition switch.

Works great and didn't take much time at all. Now I even have an extra outlet.
