I have a 1995 ford f-150 , 4X4 ,with a 5.8 ltr. V8 .
I changed the fuel filter the other day, today I started the truck and heard ,what sounded like an alarm clock going off.
You know, when you get that signal on the TV ,warning of bad weather or an Amber alert , that high pitched sound.
I know the filter change is non electrical , and my check engine light has been on for some time, the code reads a bad O2 sensor, which I
haven't got around to replacing .

Is there anybody out there, that has an idea, of what can be causing this sound?

It's sounds like it is coming, from the center or the dash, near the radio, It's not the radio,I removed the face just to make sure.:frown2:

thank you , John M

OOPS, one more thing that I forgot to mention, the sound is not steady, it's intermittent ,on off.
