So I changed my oil this weekend and I didnt notice till I was done that Delo had changed. You can no longer get just the 15-40 Its now formulated for the new low emissions diesels. I just dont know how its going to work in my truck. It says its fine for everything but i hardly belive that, any ways anyone have any thoughts

Yes, you can still get Delo 400 15w40 in the CI-4+ formulation. Many places will only stock the Delo 400 LE which is a 15w40 in the new CJ-4 formulation. The new oil will work in older engines. If you have doubts about whether the oil is working in your engine have a couple of oil samples taken. You need more than one sample to get an accurate idea of how the oil is doing.

Got 5500 miles on mine. Oil looks clean as before with the "pre-LE" type. Oil consumption has not changed either.
