Between the time of my old heater core and now, they have redesigned the cores. It is now an aluminum core with different design on the tanks on either end. The new design will not fit in the box. The old core was a copper/brass unit. I have tried all the parts stores and I can not find my old design. Does anyone know where I can find one other than the stealership?

The aftermarket cores wont last. I have used 2 differant aftermarket cores and they both lasted about a year. I maintain my coolant at the top of the condition with distilled water so its not the water here. I finally bought the Ford core and now 5 years later no problems. I usually don't buy from Ford but this time it worked out for the best...
