Hey guys, been reading through posts for a little bit now. Impressive sight.
My 2001 F350, 135k, factory everything on motor, has started dying on me while driving. Usually around idle or slowing/stopping. Fuel filter new, been through many tanks of diesel so know it is good.
This started about 3 months ago when I exited the highway coming up to a stop sign. Over the last couple of weeks it seems to progressively be getting worse.
From the searching I did on here, it seems like the CPS might be the problem. Before going to the Ford house tomorrow and picking up a new CPS, are there any other thoughts?
The only other problem I have ever had with the pickup is the high pressure oil pump, which was still under warranty at the time. I did replace my front hub assemblies about 15k miles ago. Been a great pickup so far, but this dying thing really sucks.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Chris
