Hi! New member today. New to diesels in general. I'm a truck driver but never owned a diesel till about 3 yrs ago when I bought an 06 f350 super cab lariat, 4x4 dually. Love this truck better than any I've ever owned. Rides great, runs great, or it did but still think it's great. I do all my own work. Have since I was 15, I am now 42. Will tackle any mechanical project, but do not claim to know much. I do love to get all the info I can to do my own repairs. Have a library of repair books but the internet has a world more info and hands on info. So my library is more souvenirs now. Looking forward to joining in to learn and help others like me when possible.

6.0 problem

My 6.0 starts great and runs great for about 45-60 seconds, then idles like crap. Scan gauge shows icp at 1000, ipr at 14.8 then ipr jumps to 32.4 and icp drops to 875 and truck immediately runs rough. Starts every time hot or cold. Recently did a lot of work on it because it quit running period. What's been done to truck? New IPR, icp, egr delete, oil cooler, blue spring upgrade, fuel pump, 54.5 v ficm, injectors deep cleaned inside and out, all new orings, stand pipe and dummy plug upgrades, turbo rebuild and upgraded wheel, no tuner. Truck runs off idle better than ever with very noticeable increase in power. Fuel mileage went from 14 mpg to 17 mpg at hwy speed and pulls like nobody's business. But it idles horrible. No smoke when driving but smokes when wot setting in driveway. This whole thing just seems weird but I'm stumped. Has this happened to any one else?
