So I was looking for something that could tow a little more than my 03 Tundra and be a drive as I go project, I have rebuilt lots of gas vehicles and turned wrenches as a hobby for years but have never worked on a Diesel vehicle. I picked up a 96 F250 crewcab 4x4 LB with 176k miles. Looks pretty stock but I have little to no information or history on the truck. Looking forward to learning and working on the truck. Would like to know if there is anything that should be done to get a good start. Usually I would change fluids, filters, check brakes, etc. What items should I start with??
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to the Diesel Stop.

To get rid of the angry face just edit your post. When your in "edit" mode, look for the GO ADVANCED link. Click it and you will be able to edit the title box.

As far as where to start on your new to you truck. You've got the right idea, and I will let those with your era of truck add information.
