After many years of owning trucks and always wanting a diesel I finally made the plunge and so happy I did. 2014 Ford F350 with the 6.7 used with 60,000 miles. The truck is an absolute beast and I am going to have fun with it. Only problem is I am new to diesels so I am going to have lots of questions. Every google search I did with questions about diesels came up with a posts from this forum, so it has to be a great place to learn.

I'm Dennis but I chose the user name 6.0 newbie because thats what I am. I just bought my first F350 diesel. Its a 2005 F350 SWD Lariot Crew cab with the 6.0 Power Stroke. I have been reading a lot of horror stories about the 6.0. I bought it from the 2nd owner, he has Done the EGR delete, Replaced the oil cooler, replaced the injectors, replaced the head gaskets and the head studs and replaced the hpop.
So from what I have been reading it sounds like the things that are the most common issues have been replaced. I hope so because I know nothing about diesels
