Howdy! I'm a new member of this community with my new-to-me 1986 F250 XLT Lariat 4X4 6.9L IDI diesel. It's a bit of a project truck and I am relatively unfamiliar with older diesel engines. I'll update this post with progress pictures and questions as they arise.
First Question: What is the best way to ensure I get all of the transmission fluid out of the transmission? I have enough fluid to replace it all, but I read that you only get about a quarter of it out by dropping the pan. Any tips?
