I had door ajar light on, auto headlights not working, dome light messed up and other stuff. INew VSM from Tousley Ford $200. Programed in Utah $97. Everything is working again. My remote key pad reprogramed and working door locks and lights but the dam door lock ajar light is still on. I WD 40 the door and am going to try compressed air. Any other suggestions or ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Spray it in the latch mechanisms and open/close each door 5x after spraying.

Spray will temporarily repair it. But door panel removal and repair is the real fix. Theres a plug on the back of the door latch mechanism that is a switch for the door ajar system. Its sticking and too properly fix it needs to be removed and cleaned as well as the connector plug. Its easy to do. Spray a gallon of wd40 in there an it might dribble down inside and temporarily free it up. But you will see upon removal it will be coated in dust which is the issue, and the wd40 actually contributes to the issue by saturating the dust and making bubble gum dust magnet. So take the hour out of your time and pull the panel and clean it. Or replace. Its cheap enough. Multiplied by how many doors you have. Lol
