Wanted too say Hi, I am new too the site and Bought an 99 supercrew about 4 months ago...Its a Virgin/Auto and wasn't worked hard..
Been reading/Lurking the site and learning...Yall have great Info and thanks... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

Welcome I also have a (late)99 crew cab it has been a great truck and with the right parts they can be real blast to drive check my photos at the bottom of the post /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

Thanks and yeah, Thats why I have 2 Jobs...

I just want the most power without upgrading Trans or Motor Parts..Just Simple Bolt ons..

Most of my extra money goes in my Turbo Mustang..Its a Carbed Blow-Thu..

I've been registered on Turbo Mustangs.co for a few years now and been trying too make a Worlds Record in seeing how fast I can make a Ford Factory Stock 302 with Turbo's on it go..So far after 3 yrs of tuning and trial and error..High 9's 1/4 mile and 6.19 at 110 in the 1/8...I've got a Built motor fixin too go in with Twin 76's..Nothin Stock on this next one...

I just want the 4x4 look with a little lift and Bigger Tires and Different Rims...

And a Couple Hundred more H.P. If thats wanting too much...lol

I can burn off the 305,s on the back of my truck with my 336hp set up just a chip, exhaust and a k&n. Is that FWHP or RWHP....Thanks

What kind of Exhaust do you have>

From what I've read on here so far..Banks 6 Gun with 6 settings is Powerful or is that for only the newer 6.0 Diesels...?

Welcome to TDS. I am in the same position your in but I will be putting a trans in mine soon. All the exhaust on these trucks are is a tube unless you decide to keep a muffler on it but I see no point in that the louder the better right? I have a 5 inch hypermax exhaust and a 3.5 inch DP. If I could go back I would just get the 4 inch DP but get the same exhaust. I use to have a Super Chips Tuner with 3 different settings on it. I have an IDM Mod and some gauges and a stage1 AFE intake on it. I think thats it. Anyways with that I ran a 15.5 but I also have 4x4 so that makes a difference launching. I was happy with that then but you can never have to much fun and never have a diesel that goes to fast. For the Banks stuff yeah its very good and well engineered stuff but a chip in my eyes is a better investment. I just upgraded to a 6 position TS chip I bought through No Limit Diesel. Now the tranny is not happy so yeah. With the SCT the tranny never slipped and it had a really nice shift pattern to it. Keep in mind I have towed the crap out of my truck and I drive it like I stole it. Have fun and spend wisely. I might be selling my stage1 AFE if your interested.

FWHP = Front Wheel HP RWHP = Rear Wheel HP
I'm pretty sure that's RWHP.

The programs that make the most power for 7.3's are Dp-Tuner, Diesel Innovations, Ts Performance, or Twildman programs.

The Banks stuff works well, but is pretty conservative. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
