97 model a225 runs great will just shut off kinda like you turned key off.....no warning no wts light , scanner will not read need hel bad .... new fuel pump,cps one time it would not start i un-plugged black box by shift linkage on tranny and it started right up .......today 3 hrs in a parking lot and no luck!!!!! pls help

Your post is kind of hard to decipher. I would start by checking the basics like all the underhood fuses (especially #9 and #22) and fuse #16 under the dash. Check the main oil level. If #22 is blown, unplug the fuel heater (probably shorted) on the driver's side of the fuel bowl about halfway down, replace the fuse and see if it starts. Cheers!

when was the cam sensor last changed? I consider changing the cam sensor a 100k tuneup item on 7.3s...

also some OBDII readers are confused by PSDs.

PSD-PowerStroke Diesel. They are OBD2, but need some kind of add on for a scanner to work. It's my understanding that none of the cheap ones will and Auto Ingenuity is the only one that can read. I'd guess that a Snap On scanner would, but might still need som additional software.

thanks got a call this a.m. man is tellin me it looks like hpop shutting it down but i don't understand why it wont communicate w/scan tool it will when it runs and how would you know how much pressure pump is putting out the other day when it was running the pressure was around 520-530 at idle man thats a pricy part to just guess at any ideas????
