will , the ICP needs to see about 500 psi to tell the pcm go fire the injectors , so if it really is the hpop , then i really can't figure how it would run if it was bad , since it needs at least 500 to start , let alone run. . there is some info somewhere on this site , about the ipr bleeding down. Do some searchs on the HPOP. I would think it isn't "shot" if it will run cold. If you can get it scanned while it runs , post the OIL PRESSURE from the pump on here at idle and with some WOTs and the Engine oil temp the duty cycle (%) of the IPR and anything else you can. The Engine Oil Temp is another senser to take a look at. (EOT) located on the back of HPOP. a member with the screen name JOAT has a link to alot of info on this , and what it has to do with starting.
