Truck running then sputtered and stalled. Will not re-start. I noticed now that the wait to start light is not coming on. My code reader is not able to link up with the truck.Any ideas???

P.S. repaced the CPS,fuel filter, and glow plug relay.

Thanks

Starter Relay could be toast, since GPR gets its power from the starter relay. It happened on my Nieghbours Cube. I replaced the Starter relay and a Battery terminal and it started right up . Did you check the 30 Amp PCM fuse ( the dreaded fuel bowl heater could be shorting out too ) Check it under the hood , I forget the number but it is a 30 amp Maxi Fuse . . .

Yep, check underhood fuse #22 as mentioned. If it is gone unplug the fuel heater (I like to disconnect the spade connector inside the fuel bowl) and replace the fuse. Cheers!

Yup, not sure if it was the #22 fuse but it was the 30amp maxi on top. Started up right away.Didn't disconnect the fuel heater, it's covered in loom so I don/t think it was grounding out.

Thanks again!!

It isn't the external wiring that shorts and blows the fuse. The heater itself, inside your fuel bowl, would be the culprit. Element has three stand offs that hold it off the bottom of the bowl. Those come loose, element touches bowl, fuse pops, truck dies / won't crank.

Very common problem that's been the root cause of a lot of posts on the internet. :)
