Im looking for some advice and suggestions as what to do with this issue.
the truck is a 1988 Brigadier Dump
PT Fuel System on a NTC 315 engine.
i have put on a new Fuel Shut off Solenoid. the unit is getting power when the key is on and not when the key is off. the engine will not turn off. So far stalling the truck or turning the manual screw on the FSS kills the engine.
I have ran a ground wire from the FSS to frame and a power wire to FSS and still the engine stays running when i disconnect the power.
I put the ignition wires back on the key switch to the best of my ability. The batt wire burnt on the switch but the switch checks out good as far as i know. when the key is on start the power is on the SOL blade and no power when the key is in run. The ON position also sends power to the IGN and ACC blade and off when the key is off. there are also two other blades like a G1 and G2 but i dont have anymore wires. just 4. Batt Sol ACC and what i believe to be the IGN wire.
any help is appreciated
thanks
