I would replace the whole solenoid pack I was always told not to keep driving with a possible bad solenoid pack as it could cause more damage.I have not been lucky in the past everytime my OD light was flashing my tranny was trashed.Good Luck!Mike

my brother let me borrow the scanner, i keep it plugged in and if the trans decides to act up i clear the code as soon as possible to not smoke the trans. how do i find out which solenoid pack i need, ive got a 95 f350 powerstroke e4od, the trans has a jasper sticker on it and under the hood it says jasper trans was replaced.

I'm not sure other than to take it into a qualified shop and have them hook up to it and find out which one I'm sure someone with a better understanding of the E4OD may be able to give better advice I have never had just a solenoid pack go out it's always just toasted my tranny.I also have a jasper tranny my 1st was there stock upgrade model which lasted 280,xxx mi my current tranny is a jasper class 1 HD it currently has 374,xxx mi with no problems to date I have no complaints with the jasper tranny.I'm alot harder on my trannies than most as I am a commercial hauler I'm always towing campers, boats and horse trailers.Mike
