oil crossover line? whats it do

I saw on ebay a oil rail crossover line /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif it says that it equalizes oil pressure to the injectors. Is that a wise thing to do? Anyone have a DIY write up and pics on this? Can anyone further explain what youd need to do it and what the benefit would be?

"i have the stainless one though and i think thats why its working loose" Do you mean braided or is it actually a hard tube? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

I was wondering. I have had the braided stainless ones
from Dale 1 for a few years and they haven't loosened up.
