oil crossover line? whats it do

I saw on ebay a oil rail crossover line /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif it says that it equalizes oil pressure to the injectors. Is that a wise thing to do? Anyone have a DIY write up and pics on this? Can anyone further explain what youd need to do it and what the benefit would be?

honestly i noticed no difference at all when i put mine on. i had to take mine off recently because it keeps working its way loose and leaking oil. couldnt even tell the difference right after i took it back off. i have the stainless one though and i think thats why its working loose, because of the vibration through the hard steel line. it is supposed to equal the oil pressure out though which is worth it to me. just gotta figure out a way to keep it from leaking
