oil crossover line? whats it do

I saw on ebay a oil rail crossover line /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif it says that it equalizes oil pressure to the injectors. Is that a wise thing to do? Anyone have a DIY write up and pics on this? Can anyone further explain what youd need to do it and what the benefit would be?

What it does in connect the two rails which equalizes the pressure and will smooth out the motor...I got mine from Tymar for about $30 or so...Smoothed the motor out from idle all the way to highway speeds...I think its a good inexpensive mod.

I dont have any PROOF that it does but I can say that I noticed a smoother idle all the way up to highway speeds.
